We are starting production on ZIM 017. We currently have dozens of requests and improvements planned - half of these relate to the Editor or the Site. There is one major exciting update - we hope it works out, so we do not want to announce it now.
In general, there is nothing breaking planned. Most, if not all, of the parameters will remain the same as well as all the established classes. We might take a hard look at globals and really lock down on extra globals when zns=true is set. Probably we will keep the colors, S, F, W, H, STYLE, zog, zid, etc. but other than that... make the namespace be used. We will provide a list. This will not affect regular ZIM - just if zns=true is set or if using the NPM version where people expect no globals.
We will also be back to posting more ZIM videos and examples, etc. We (the royal we) were busy over the last couple months making content for the DoctorAbstract site and that is now launching with something like 200 social media posts (each on 5 different platforms) leading to the 3D/VR site where the content can be viewed at any time - like right now https://doctorabstract.com - in ZIM Pages in TextureActive surfaces of the Doctor Abstract logo.
Thank you for you patience, summer is often a slightly slower time as well. Looking forward to getting back into the ZIM production. The estimated launch time is October, but that is a busy time (Halloween) so it might move into November.
