When we fixed things, we noticed that we were charged about $200 over the year for openAI fees. Not the end of the world... but not terribly pleasant. $200 in openai fees! Was it from actual usage or someones been abusing your api key? a cost spike happened to me once and i resolved that by disabling the old api key and creating a new one
I can't tell - their report UI sucks. I can only choose up to the last 30 days. Or set a first date and last date on a calendar. But when I do that I can only scrub by a month to see totals - and it is slow. It gives me a complete chart here:
I selected from last September to this September. But then note the little Jan at the bottom right... so it is your guess or mine if that is the range I asked for. September to January (4 months) at 500 requests... would put it roughly 1500 requests for the year. Or 3-4 million input tokens. But it is a third that if the range really is showing a year (as requested).
I think something is fishy - if I select the last 30 days, we were charged 6 cents for 50 requests. So... 500 requests would be 60 cents. We are using gpt-3.5-turbo-0125
