Button with "width: AUTO": Change label after instance

After set a Button

myButton = new Button({
	label: "LONG TEST",
	width: AUTO,
	autoPaddingH: 50,
})

I want to change his label:

myButton.text = "T"

But the width of the button doesn't fit the text.

Yes - AUTO only works on an initial setting. Sorry. I will move this over to requests to think about it. For now, and probably for a while... you will have to make a new Button with the smaller word - if you want the button size to change.

This workaround is a good idea and I'll keep it in mind.
